Printer Field Service Engineer

– Based in Leeds, close surrounding areas will be considered.

You will be required to attend customer sites in areas such as Bradford, Sheffield, Hull, Grimsby, York, Newcastle upon Tyne , Manchester, Doncaster etc and will be required to travel further as and when required. You must be flexible and be able to “work to the job”. Being on call 24/7 for one week in every three is required.

Previous experience in the printer Field Service repair industry is preferred but applicants with similar electro-mechanical backgrounds and field repair experience may be considered.

You must be computer literate, have a good knowledge of connectivity including basic networking and an excellent electro-mechanical aptitude. We are happy to train someone who can demonstrate good technical ability.

You will be required to have very good customer communication skills and be well presented. A full clean driving licence is required, however, minimal points will be considered.

New Business account manager

- As New Business Account Manager, your task will be to identify, qualify and successfully close new business opportunities as well as help grow existing accounts. You will have proven business development experience and a good understanding of the supply chain industry, preferably with knowledge of enterprise print and mobile solutions. You must be capable of understanding customers’ requirements and tailoring bids and solutions appropriately. You will be a good communicator and able to build and retain relationships with key decision makers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for selling Datatrade’s full range of business solutions and services to key segments across the supply chain.
  • To proactively generate your own leads and customer appointments through telemarketing and other social networking methods, supported by Datatrade marketing activity.
  • Manage complex sales cycles while working with Datatrade’s pre-sales, technical, and customer services teams.
  • Ensure your pipeline of opportunities is continuously updated on Datatrade’s CRM system.
  • Work closely with vendor colleagues to drive joint business opportunities.

Personal Specification:

  • Demonstrable business development and sales experience within key vertical market(s)
  • Knowledge of enterprise print or mobility solutions desirable
  • Be self-motivated but also a team player
  • Enthusiasm and a strong desire to develop new business
  • Excellent time management skills and a good work ethic

Pre-Sales & Support Person

- Growth in our Industrial print and mobile solutions business means we are now looking to strengthen our team further with the addition of a self-motivated and technically focused pre-sales and support person. Ideally, you will have a background in the AIDC/print world and be familiar with the various aspects of printing and mobile solutions, hardware and software. You must be able to learn and retain information about multiple products and pieces of software. A strong technical ability needs to be supported by good written and verbal communications.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for working with sales, engineering and customer services teams to migrate customers to our services and offerings
  • To act as second line technical support and liaison with customers and vendors
  • Able to learn about software and hardware solutions and promote their benefits both internally and externally
  • Capable of working across a wide variety of customer issues, including fault finding, managing end of life transitioning and integrating new hardware and/or software with their applications.

Personal specification:

  • Demonstrable troubleshooting and solution mapping skills.
  • Knowledge of enterprise print or mobile solutions desirable
  • Be self-driven but also able to work as part of a team
  • Enthusiastic and confident about technologies with customers
  • Good knowledge of IT systems and networking
  • Excellent time management skills and good work ethics
  • A real understanding of warehousing/supply chain environments, systems, process etc., would be useful but not essential.

Accounts Assistant

- Part time required for our IT sales and support business based in Northampton. It is likely the role can be accommodated within part-time hours which are flexible to suit the right candidate.

You will be required to process transactions for sales and purchase ledgers (including credit control), bank accounts including bank reconciliations, staff expenses, stock entries where appropriate and other ad-hoc tasks to support the Financial Director. Input into the monthly management accounts is also optional depending on experience and/or willingness to learn.
